# Imagine STEM beta

Developed by Pock Engineering.

## Make your own STEM online

1. Choose **Make your own STEM online**, then select your own MP3, WAV or another supported audio file.
2. Keep the page open and your screen awake while four stems are prepared. First separation downloads an approximately 166 MB model. Speed and song limits depend on the device; start with a short song or excerpt.
3. The ready song opens in the deck paused. Press **Play**.
4. Adjust **Drums, Bass, Vocals and Instruments** with the faders. Hold one pad to hear that part, or several pads to hear them together. Release all pads to return to your previous mix.

Your audio is processed on your device. Saved songs and mixes belong to this browser and website address. There is no account, cloud music library or automatic sync. Clearing website data can remove local songs; export important files. A different phone or browser has its own library.

Touch and desktop controls are supported. Physical iPhone separation performance is still being tested; desktop mobile-size tests do not establish that every iPhone can process a full song. Locked or backgrounded browsers may pause processing. Audio starts only after your interaction.

## Upload to your STEM Player

The second homepage choice is for the Teenage Engineering SP-01. **Physical music uploads are paused in this beta while preservation of existing songs is validated on hardware.** Preparing and previewing files and using the simulated player remain available.

The new transfer system keeps a saved track map for each player and refuses unknown, stale or unverified maps. A record is not an audio backup or live scan. The beta will not automatically replace the current album. No firmware-flashing or erase controls are provided.

For inspection in desktop Chrome or Edge: turn the SP-01 off, hold the far-left and far-right track buttons while connecting a USB data cable, release when the first LED lights, then choose Connect and select the player. Connecting does not send songs. The online deck needs no physical player.

## Optional YouTube links

The primary input is your own audio file. YouTube import requires the optional desktop helper on the same computer. The public static page cannot download YouTube audio on a phone by itself. No paid processing server is provided. Link availability can change; failure does not prevent local-file processing.

## Testing with friends

Try a short file, all four faders, one/two/three held pads, pause/resume and Look → Dark/Light. If something fails, note the device, browser, song duration and exact message. Keep private audio and player records private when reporting bugs.
